Private Client - House piles and earthworks
Vea Contractors completed the drilling of 75 structural piles along with associated earthworks for a residential house foundation. The project involved accurate set-out, excavation, pile drilling, spoil removal, and preparation of a stable building platform to meet engineering requirements. The works ensured a strong and reliable foundation, supporting long-term structural performance of the dwelling.
NZTA - Bridge Remedial Works
Across the Auckland Region, Vea Contractors has carried out multiple protection works on bridges at risk of being undermined by water erosion. Using our machine fleet, we've placed rock armour to stabilise riverbanks and bridge foundations — and where machine access wasn't possible, our team placed rock by hand to get the job done right.
JFC- Gabion Baskets
We worked alongside JFC to install gabion basket retaining structures for bridge stabilisation at Mt Roskill Intermediate School. The baskets were built to retain the surrounding ground and protect the bridge approach from erosion. A solid, low-maintenance solution designed to hold up for the long term.
Vea Contractors provides a 1.2m³ concrete pan mixer mounted on a telehandler, allowing concrete to be mixed on site in locations where standard trucks cannot access. The all-terrain telehandler enables off-road delivery to confined, elevated, or difficult areas such as backyards, coastal sites, soft ground, and behind structures. We offer an engineered on-site mix service, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency while reducing handling and delays. Ideal for footings, slabs, block fill, and medium-scale pours in challenging site conditions.
1.2m³ Telehandler Concrete Pan Mixer (All-Terrain Access)
Vea Contractors offers a 0.8m³ skid steer-mounted concrete mixer designed for sites where access is difficult or impossible for standard concrete trucks. The skid steer’s off-road capability allows concrete to be mixed and delivered directly to hard to reach locations such as backyards, coastal areas, steep driveways, rural sites, and confined construction zones. This can also be mounted to an excavator.

Vea Contractors provides excavators equipped with hydraulic rock breakers for efficient breaking and removal of hard rock commonly encountered on Auckland and volcanic sites. Our equipment is well suited for conditions where solid basalt or dense rock prevents conventional excavation.
